Matthew 13:31-32 | Mark 4:30-32 | Luke 13:18-19 | ||||||
31He put out another parable to them, saying,
The kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed,
which a man took and sowed in his field;
32which indeed is the least of all seeds, but when it is
grown it is the greatest among herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the
air come and lodge in its branches. MKJV |
30And He said, to what shall we
compare the kingdom of God? Or by what parable shall we compare it?
31It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is
sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that are in the earth.
32But when it has been sown, it grows up and becomes
greater than all herbs, and shoots out great branches, so as to enable the birds
of the air to roost under its shade. MKJV |
18And He said, What is the kingdom
of God like? And to what shall I compare it?
19It is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took and
threw into his garden. And it grew and became a great tree, and the birds of
the air lodged in its branches. MKJV |
