48And He answered and said to him who told Him, Who is My mother? And who are My brothers? 49And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, Behold, My mother and My brothers! 50For whoever shall do the will of My Father in Heaven, the same is My brother and sister and mother.

  • Pursuing the things of God, requires turning away from certain things of the world. Whether they are either sinful habits or just distractions, they will both keep you from your focus. No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon, Matthew 6:24.
