Paul Halbeck - author of PowerMinistries, an Extreme Christian
I have had two major jobs working both in electronic and computer technologies for about
twenty-five years, you can view my resume. In 2002, I left my second
job in computers and moved from Illinois to Colorado to attend
Colorado Bible College, (CBC). As was my way in the past of
doing things, I immersed myself in my new focus, "the Ministry", learning and knowing God's Word
and to the best of my abilities living the Word has now become my new life style. I began
studying God's Word back when I was in Illinois and after much time my knowledge of computer
languages, interest in making web-pages and the knowledge of the Word all came together in one
rather silly web-page, later to become a small set of web-pages and now the web-site that you see.
The web-site has been growing ever since, along with my personal growth in God's Word and my
walk in His kingdom.
I call myself an extreme Christian because I believe that God's Word is more than enough to
meet whatever our human needs might be. Whether our need is healing, (physically or emotionally),
mending of a broken relationship, providing our daily provision, or blessing us with peace, love
and joy. Jesus said that we are to seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and
all these thing would be added unto us, Matthew 6:33.
I am just extreme enough to take His Word literally, believing that the Word is living,
Hebrews 4:12, and His Word is Spirit and it is life,
John 6:63. I believe that taking the "Gos-pill", will do more good than
any medical procedure, taking of an antibiotic, any drug or supplement. If we but know and
believe His Word, His Word can do more than the best marriage councilor or psychologist, the best
financial planner and His Word can provide us with true love, joy and peace, that the world is
incapable of providing.
I encourage you to also become an extreme believer with me in God's Word, expecting that when we
speak His Word, He will work with us, confirming His Word with signs following,
Mark 16:20.
