We were created so that God could fill the earth in His own image.
So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him;
male and female He created them, Genesis 1:27.
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God
has before ordained that we should walk in them,
Ephesians 2:10.
We were created so that God could prove His love for us at Calvary.
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes
in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life,
John 3:16
Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends,
John 15:13
The ultimate expression of love is to lay down your life for another, God through
Jesus Christ, was now able to lay down His life, proving His love for us.
God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners,
Christ died for us, Romans 5:8.
In order for love to be complete and fulfilled, it needs to be returned. Only someone
created in the same likeness and image could fulfill this.
We love Him because He first loved us, 1st John 4:19
We were created so that God could father His own Son Jesus Christ.
Adam was a created being, but Jesus Christ was begotten of the Father.
[Christ], Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was
manifest in these last times for you, 1st Peter 1:20
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon
His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting
Father, Prince of Peace, Isaiah 9:6
It is written, "The first man Adam became a living being." The last Adam became a
life-giving spirit, 1st Corinthians 15:45
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of
the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth,
John 1:14
We were created so that God could provide a body and a bride for His Son.
In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go
to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again
and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also,
John 14:2-3
Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ,
that you may be married to another-- to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should
bear fruit to God, Romans 7:4
For as a young man marries a virgin, So shall your sons marry you; And as the bridegroom
rejoices over the bride, So shall your God rejoice over you,
Isaiah 62:5
That He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the Word,
that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any
such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish,
Ephesians 5:26-27
We were created so that God could have fellowship with man.
We fellowship with God through prayer, worship, and communion, and through
interaction with His body of believers, the two are interrelated.
That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His
sufferings, being conformed to His death,
Philippians 3:10
And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the
breaking of bread, and in prayers,
Acts 2:42
In summary: It is all about Him, it is not about us!
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is,
sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the
earth, Colossians 3:2
It is not about us" Whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is
in their shame-- who set their mind on earthly things,
Philippians 3:19
