29And moving from there Jesus came beside the Sea of
Galilee. And He went up into a mountain and sat there.
30And great crowds came to Him, having with them the lame,
blind, dumb, maimed, and many others. And they cast them down at Jesus' feet.
And He healed them,
31so much so that the crowd wondered when they saw the
dumb speak, the maimed sound, the lame walk, and the blind see. And they
glorified the God of Israel. MKJV |

- Jesus was not seeking the crowd, rather they were seeking Him. He went up on a
mountain and sat there, He may have been seeking solitude.
- When the multitude came to Him, they had brought their lame, blind, dumb and maimed.
Doing this alone requires having compassion one for another.
- When the healings occurred the multitude marveled: This shows an unbelief of not really
expecting the supernatural, this is a form of
hardness of heart. If we wish to be healed by the supernatural power of God,
we need to expect the supernatural things of God and not be surprised at them.
