3And as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came
to Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be
the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the world?
4And Jesus answered and said to them,
Take heed that no man deceive you.
5For many will come in My name, saying, I am Christ,
and will deceive many.
6And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you
are not troubled, for all these things must occur; but the end is not yet.
7For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against
kingdom. And there will be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in different
places.
8All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9Then they will deliver you up to be afflicted and will
kill you. And you will be hated of all nations for My name's sake.
10And then many will be offended, and will betray one
another, and will hate one another.
11And many false prophets will rise and deceive many.
12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many will
become cold.
13But he who endures to the end, the same shall be kept safe.
14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be proclaimed in all
the world as a witness to all nations. And then the end shall come.
15Therefore when you see the
abomination of desolation, spoken of
by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place (whoever reads, let him understand).
16Then let those in Judea flee into the mountains.
17Let him on the housetop not come down to take anything
out of his house;
18nor let him in the field turn back to take his clothes.
19And woe to those who are with child, and to those who
give suck in those days!
20But pray that your flight is not in the winter, nor on
the Sabbath day;
21for then shall be great tribulation, such as has not
been since the beginning of the world to this time; no, nor ever shall be.
22And unless those days should be shortened, no flesh
would be saved. But for the elect's sake, those days shall be shortened.
23Then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ!
Or, There! Do not believe it.
24For false christ's and false prophets will arise and
show great signs and wonders; so much so that, if it were possible, they would
deceive even the elect.
25Behold, I have told you beforehand.
26Therefore if they shall say to you, Behold, He is in the
desert! Do not go out. Behold, He is in the secret rooms! Do not believe it.
27For as the lightning comes out of the east and shines
even to the west, so also will be the coming of the Son of Man.
28For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be
gathered.
29And immediately after the tribulation of those days,
the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars
shall fall from the heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
30And then the sign of the Son of Man shall appear in the
heavens. And then all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the
Son of Man coming in the clouds of the heaven with power and great glory.
31And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a
trumpet, and they shall gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the
heavens to the other.
32Now learn a parable of the fig tree. When its branch is
still tender and puts out leaves, you know that summer is near.
33So you, likewise, when you see all these things, shall
know that it is near, at the doors.
34Truly I say to you, This generation shall not pass until
all these things are fulfilled.
35The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but My Words
shall not pass away.
36But of that day and hour no one knows, no, not the angels
of Heaven, but only My Father.
37But as the days of Noah were, so shall be the coming of
the Son of Man.
38For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and
drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered into the ark.
39And they did not know until the flood came and took them
all away. So also will be the coming of the Son of Man.
40Then two shall be in the field; the one shall be taken,
and the other left.
41Two shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken,
and the other left.
42Therefore watch; for you do not know what hour your Lord
comes.
43But know this, that if the steward of the house had known
in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched and would not have allowed
his house to be dug through.
44Therefore you also be ready, for in that hour you think
not, the Son of Man comes.
45Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his Lord
has made ruler over His household, to give them food in due season?
46Blessed is that servant whom his Lord shall find him
doing so when He comes.
47Truly I say to you that He shall make him ruler over all
His goods.
48But if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My
Lord delays His coming,
49and shall begin to strike his fellow servants, and to
eat and drink with the drunken,
50the Lord of that servant shall come in a day when he does
not look for Him, and in an hour which he does not know.
51And He shall cut him apart and appoint him his portion
with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked Him privately,
4Tell us, When shall all these things be? And what shall
be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
5And Jesus answering them began to say,
Beware that no one deceive you.
6For many shall come in My name, saying, I AM, and shall
deceive many.
7And when you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, do
not be troubled. For it must happen, but the end shall not be yet.
8For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against
kingdom. And there shall be earthquakes in different places, and there shall be
famines and troubles. These things are the beginnings of sorrows.
9But take heed to yourselves. For they shall deliver you
up to Sanhedrin, and in the synagogues you shall be beaten. And you shall be brought
before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony against them.
10And the gospel must first be proclaimed to all nations.
11But whenever they lead you away and deliver you up, take
no thought beforehand what you should speak or think. But speak whatever shall be
given to you in that hour. For it is not you who speaks, but the Holy Spirit.
12And a brother will betray a brother to death, and a father
his son. And children will rise up against their parents and will cause them to be
put to death.
13And you will be hated by all for My name's sake, but he
enduring to the end, that one will be kept safe.
14But when you see the

of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not (let him who reads understand),
then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

suck in those days!

been from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never shall
be.
20And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh
would be saved. But for the elect's sake, whom He has chosen, He has shortened the
days.
21And then if anyone shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ!
Or, lo, there! Do not believe him.

house is coming, at evening, or at midnight, or at cockcrowing, or early;
36lest he come suddenly and find you sleeping.
37And what I say to you, I say to all. Watch.

7And they asked Him, saying, Teacher, but when shall these
things be? And what shall be the sign when these things are about to take place?
8And He said, Take heed that you are
not deceived, for many shall come in My name, saying, I AM! Also, The time has come!
Do not go after them.
9But when you hear of wars and disturbances, do not be
terrified, for all these things must first occur, but the end is not at once.
10And He said to them, Nation shall
rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
11And great earthquakes shall be in different places, and
famines and plagues. And there shall be terrors and great signs from Heaven.
12But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you
and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, being brought
before kings and rulers for My name's sake.
13And it shall return to you for a testimony.
14Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate
beforehand what you shall answer.
15For I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your
adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
16And you shall be betrayed also by parents and brothers
and kinsmen and friends. And they will cause some of you to be put to death.
17And you shall be hated by all for My name's sake.
18But there shall not a hair of your head perish.
19By your patience you will gain your souls.
20And when you see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then
know that its destruction has come.
21And let those in Judea flee to the mountains. And those
in its midst, let them go out. And those in the open spaces, let them not go into her.
22For these are the days of vengeance, that all things
which are written may be fulfilled.
23But woe to those who are with child, and to those suckling
in those days! For there shall be great distress in the land and wrath on this people.
24And they shall fall by the sword's edge. And shall be led
away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem shall be trodden down by the nations
until the times of the nations is fulfilled.
25And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and
in the stars. And on the earth will be anxiety of nations with perplexity; the sea
and the waves roaring;
26men fainting from fear, and expecting those things which
have come on the earth. For the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
27And then they shall see the Son of Man coming in a cloud
with power and great glory.
28And when these things begin to happen, then look up and
lift up your heads, for your redemption draws near.
29And He spoke a parable to them: Behold the fig-tree and
all the trees.
30Now when they sprout leaves, seeing it you will know that
summer is now near.
31So also, when you see these things happening, know that
the kingdom of God is near.
32Truly I say to you, This generation shall not pass away
until all these things are fulfilled.
33The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but My Words
shall not pass away.
34And take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts are weighed
down with headaches and drinking and anxieties of this life; and that day should
suddenly come on you;
35for it shall come as a snare on all those sitting on the
face of the whole earth.
36Watch therefore, praying in every season that you may be
counted worthy to escape all these things which shall occur, and to stand before the
