Matthew 26:47-57 Mark 14:43-53 Luke 22:47-54 John 18:3-13
47And as He was yet speaking, behold, Judas came, one of the Twelve. And with him came a great crowd with swords and clubs, being sent from the chief priests and elders of the people. 48And he who betrayed Him gave them a sign, saying, Whomever I shall kiss, He is the one, lay hold on Him. 49And coming up to Jesus immediately, he said, Hail, Master! And he kissed Him. 50And Jesus said to him, Friend, why are you here? Then they came and laid hands on Jesus and took Him. 51And, behold, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand and drew his sword, and he struck a servant of the high priest and cut off his ear. 52Then Jesus said to him, Put up your sword again into its place; for all who take the sword shall perish with a sword. 53Do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He shall presently give Me more than twelve legions of angels? 54But how then shall the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must be so? 55In that hour Jesus said to the crowds, Have you come out in order to take Me with swords and clubs, as against a thief? I sat daily with you, teaching in the temple, and you did not lay hands on Me. 56But all this happened that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples fled, forsaking Him. 57And they who had seized Jesus led Him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders had assembled.

43And immediately, while He still spoke, Judas, being one of the Twelve, came, and with him a great crowd with swords and clubs, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders. 44And he who betrayed Him had given them a sign, saying, Whomever I shall kiss, it is He. Take Him and lead Him away safely. 45And coming, at once drawing near to Him, he said, Rabbi, Rabbi! And he ardently kissed Him. 46And they laid their hands on Him and seized Him. 47And one of those standing by, drawing a sword, struck a servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear. 48And answering Jesus said to them, Have you come out with swords and clubs, as against a robber, to take Me? 49I was with you daily in the temple teaching, and you did not seize Me. But the Scriptures must be fulfilled. 50And leaving Him, all fled. 51And one, a certain young man, followed Him, having thrown a linen cloth around his naked body. And the young men caught him. 52And he left the linen cloth and fled from them naked. 53And they led Jesus away to the high priest. And with him were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes.

47And as He was yet speaking, behold a crowd! And he who was called Judas, one of the Twelve, went before them. And he drew near Jesus to kiss Him. 48But Jesus said to him, Judas, do you betray the Son of Man with a kiss? 49And those around Him seeing what was about to occur, they said to him, Lord, shall we strike with the sword? 50And one of them struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his right ear. 51And Jesus answered and said, Let it go until now. And touching his ear, He healed him. 52And Jesus said to the chief priests and commanders of the temple, and the elders, who had come to Him, Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and staves? 53When I was with you in the temple daily, you did not stretch out your hand on Me. But this is your hour, and the authority of the darkness. 54And laying hold on Him, they led Him away and brought Him into the high priest's house. And Peter followed afar off.

3Then Judas, having received a band and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, came there with lanterns and torches and weapons. 4Then Jesus, knowing all things that were coming upon Him, went out and said to them, Whom do you seek? 5They answered Him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus said to them, I AM! And Judas who betrayed Him also stood with them. 6Then as soon as He had said to them, I AM, they went backward and fell to the ground. 7Then He asked them again, Whom do you seek? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth. 8Jesus answered, I have told you that I AM. Therefore if you seek Me, let these go away; 9(that the word might be fulfilled which He spoke, "Of those whom You have given Me, I have lost not one of them"). 10Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and struck the high priest's servant and cut off his right ear. And the servant's name was Malchus. 11Then Jesus said to Peter, Put up your sword into the sheath. The cup which My Father has given Me, shall I not drink it? 12Then the band, and the chiliarch, and under-officers of the Jews together seized Jesus and bound Him. 13And they led Him away to Annas first, for he was father-in-law to Caiaphas, who was the high priest that year.
